I hear your frustration and I am doing the best I can to deal with all the issues that come up with this volume of work. Most of our people have been working through the holidays, myself included. I am confident that the worst is over and that we can finish all projects and provide a decent warrantee. It requires us all to move in the same direction to keep this on track. Many customers have systems finished and there is an order to the unfinished workload based on area and deposit date.
It is always darkest before the dawn. You are all people that have worked very hard to get where you are. I have done the same including the last 7 ½ years in this solar business. I survived in this industry before this program and funding programs started and fully intend to survive this with those that will work with me. You all have a choice. Help to win or help to lose. I only want to provide the best possible system for all of you for the long term.

Amid all the rumours about my company, project delays and all of the problems in this program we continue to march ahead. The rumours are just that, rumours. We have a strong group of people that are working to complete a large volume of work. The added challenges of supply delays only add to our workload and makes my customer support staff look inefficient when in fact they are working overtime to see that our customers projects get completed. Missed supply delivery dates make it impossible at times to keep up to date with a timely installation schedule.
Most of you are aware of the serious delays that have occurred over the last year. These delays have been painful for all of us.
The information provided below should give you a good update as to the status of projects.

For those with completed projects:
If your final payment has been made, Thank you. I appreciate your business and am always available to resolve any operation questions or warrantee issues. Call us directly at the head office for fast warrantee service if required.
If your system is tracking and final payment has not yet been made:
Without final payment we will not be able to provide any warrantee coverage. Please ensure that payment is made immediately when your system is tracking.
Moving forward there are three different situations.
- Customers that have panels and are connected to the grid but do not have tracking controls yet.
After the problems that have occurred with the slow delivery of the tracker controls, I decided that Copperhill has to have greater control over the supply and service of tracker controls. We need to be able to provide good long term service and that requires partners that can deliver. To this end, we organized a team almost 4 months ago to develop a second tracker control system. The new system has been developed and tested at our site. It is now in secondary testing and the first 10 units are in production ready for certification inspection next week Thursday. Installation will start the following week.
I have one shop producing these panels now and am working with two more shops to start production in the next week. This will ensure a faster supply than we have had in the past. We have four crews ready to install these trackers as they become available.
I will set as realistic a schedule as possible as soon as I have all the information to do that.
- Customers that are waiting on inverters and Hydro connection.
We have added a second shop three weeks ago to speed up the inverter cabinet assembly process. The number of systems ready for connection will be greatly improved in January. We now have a supply of inverters and cabinets to complete all systems. Assembly of these units will continue at both shops in the coming weeks.
- Customers projects that have just started.
These systems are going up faster now as most of the supply issues have been resolved.
This is a new program with a lot of pitfalls and hurdles. We do not shy away from the challenges that the solar industry brings and continue to build as we go into our 8th year.
