Re: microFIT Ontario content
This letter is to confirm that the 10.8 kw Atrax™ PV system supplied by Copperhill Alternate Energy Inc. meets or exceeds the microFIT / FIT program requirements. We are pleased to have the Ontario Government strongly supporting Ontario suppliers and manufacturers in the microFIT / FIT program. By requiring a percentage of Ontario manufactured components, Copperhill and Atrax are able to create dozens of new local jobs.
The Green Energy and Green Economy Act of 2009 officially started the microFIT /FIT program on October 1, 2009.
Until December 31, 2010, systems installed under the micro FIT program must have a minimum of 40% Ontario content. The Ontario content requirement in the FIT program is 50%. As of January 1, 2011 all systems must have a minimum of 60% Ontario content.
Copperhill meets this requirement with a score of 46% in our 10kw tracking system without sacrificing quality in our system. We continue to use the SMA inverter, ATRAX™ solar tracker, offer free web based system monitoring, and consumer choice of solar panels along with a full 20 year warranty. Please see the chart below for more detail.
Thank you for choosing our system. Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
John Verway,
President
